St. Francis youth visited Franciscan Boys Home

The young Saint Francis of the preparatory and secondary categories visited the house of the Franciscan child, where he began the visit with the Divine Liturgy in which Father Sandro mentioned the young Saint, Elizabeth (1207 - 1231).

After the Divine Liturgy, Mr. Raed Awad did many interesting activities and interactive competitions for individuals. Then Father Sandro explained about the child's home and the services it provides to children. The child's home receives approximately 25 young people, some of whom live here and others come in the afternoon to study. They give them support that they are unlikely to find in society or even in their families, where they are often neglected.

After that, several individuals competed in a football game on the playground of a child's home. The meeting concluded with a dinner that was prepared in the kitchen of the Child’s House. It is worth mentioning that the kitchen was recently renovated with the joint support of the Franciscan Foundation of the Holy Land, the Society of the Holy Land in Bethlehem, and the Papal Mission in Jerusalem.

After dinner, the youth of Saint Francis presented a statue of Saint Saint Francis of Assisi to keep a memory of this visit, in which about 60 people participated.
