Apostles of Divine Mercy in Bethlehem

The “Apostles of Divine Mercy” group of Saint Catherine Church met in the parish. In the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament of the church, which was headed by the parish priest and spiritual guide of the group, Father Rami Asakrieh, the meeting usually begins with the prayer of the Office and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in front of the House of the Blessed Sacrament, and the relic of Saint Faustina, which included joint prayers and hymns in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and we raised intentions and requests. Peace and security, the sick and the dead, the suffering and the priests.
During the meeting, which was about the manifestation of divine love in the merciful and compassionate heart of Jesus. The priest reminded that the Christian community is apostolic in nature because every Christian has received the gift of the Holy Spirit and is called to continue the work of Jesus and proclaim the joy of the Gospel to everyone.
He explained that whoever makes the love of Christ attract him, becomes his disciple and feels a longing to carry the mercy emanating from the heart of Jesus to everyone. When we contemplate the heart of Jesus, we discover God’s great design for humanity, adding: We can touch the Father’s infinite love in the wounded heart of Jesus, crucified. He loves us and calls us to be His children and share the joy that emanates from Him. He stressed that Christ revealed to us the heart of the Father who always waits for us, without excluding anyone, and meets us with open arms.
He continued: We were sent to continue this mission, which is to be a sign of the heart of Christ and the love of the Father. We discussed the importance of apostolic works, and there was a call to intensify the group's activities and strengthen the apostolic spirit with the boldness of the Holy Spirit, calling on each member of the group to be a leaven wherever they go in order to contribute to Strengthening the apostolic method of the Church and supporting the works of human mercy.
We wish for God’s blessing, Mary’s constant care, and Saint Faustina’s intercession with us on the path of the blessed mission. 🙏🏼 Jesus, we trust in you
