Solar Power Station Project

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Holy Land, Father Francesco Patton, the monks of the Franciscan monastery in Bethlehem, in cooperation with the Bethlehem Development Corporation, inaugurated the Saint Francis Solar Power Station.

The Latins, and the Mayor of Bethlehem Hanna Hanania, with the presence of Governor Kamel Hamid and a number of friendly institutions.

This project will serve St. Catherine's Church - Nativity and the Franciscan Monastery. The importance of this project is that it is compatible with the spirituality of St. Francis by preserving the environment and climate, and praising God for nature and encouraging its preservation.
